Quick answer: find your TikTok Pixel ID in TikTok Ads Manager → Tools → Events → Data sources → your pixel. Paste it in HookPage → Settings → Advanced tracking → TikTok → TikTok Pixel IDs (Pro).
What is the TikTok Pixel?
The TikTok Pixel is a piece of code from TikTok that tracks what visitors do on your website after they see your TikTok ads, such as viewing a page, sending a form or buying. Each pixel has an ID made of letters and numbers.
Why it matters
- Measure: see which TikTok ads bring leads and sales.
- Optimize: TikTok uses your events to find people more likely to convert.
- Retarget: build audiences of people who visited your pages.
What HookPage does with it (Pro)
- HookPage loads the TikTok Pixel for each ID on your landing pages and sends a page view.
- Every conversion is sent as a TikTok standard event, with an event ID:
| HookPage event | TikTok event |
|---|---|
| Lead | SubmitForm |
| Contact | Contact |
| InitiateCheckout | InitiateCheckout |
| AddToCart | AddToCart |
| CompleteRegistration | CompleteRegistration |
| ViewContent | ViewContent |
| Purchase | CompletePayment |
| Schedule | Contact |
| SubmitApplication | SubmitForm |
| Any other event | ClickButton |
- After a form is sent, HookPage shares the visitor’s email and phone with TikTok in hashed form, to help match the event to a TikTok user.
TikTok has renamed two events: SubmitForm is now called Lead, and CompletePayment is now Purchase. TikTok says existing setups keep working, so in Events Manager you may see these HookPage events under the new names.
Where to find your TikTok Pixel ID
- Log in to TikTok Ads Manager and choose your ad account.
- Click Tools → Events.
- In the sidebar, select Data sources and click your pixel. Its ID is shown with the pixel.
No pixel yet? In Events Manager, set up a new web data source and choose to install the pixel manually. You only need the ID: HookPage adds the code.
Add it to HookPage
- Go to HookPage → Settings → Advanced tracking → TikTok.
- Paste your ID in TikTok Pixel IDs and save. Several? Separate with commas, up to 10.
SCREENSHOT TO ADD: HookPage → Settings → Advanced tracking → TikTok → “TikTok Pixel IDs”
- HookPage removes everything except letters and numbers and turns letters into capitals.
- One page can use another pixel: open it in the editor → HookPage: tracking panel.
