This policy explains how refunds work for HookPage Pro and HookPage Agency, sold by Techgic at techgic.com. If anything is unclear, email us at contact@techgic.com.
Our 14-day money-back guarantee
We want you to be happy with HookPage. If it isn’t right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase and we’ll refund you in full. You don’t have to give a reason, although we’d love to know how we can improve.
- The guarantee applies to every HookPage Pro and HookPage Agency plan, monthly or yearly.
- The 14 days start on the date of your first payment for the plan.
- If a renewal payment was taken that you didn’t want, ask for a refund within 14 days of that renewal payment and we’ll refund it.
How to ask for a refund
Send an email to contact@techgic.com with the subject “Refund request” and include:
- The email address you used to buy HookPage
- Your order number or license key, if you have it
- The reason of refund request
We reply to every refund request by email.
What happens after a refund
- Your license is cancelled and HookPage Pro features stop working on your sites. The free HookPage plugin keeps working.
- Your landing pages, leads and orders stay on your own WordPress site. We don’t delete anything on your site.
- The money goes back to the payment method you used. PayPal refunds usually arrive right away. Card refunds can take 5 to 10 business days to show on your statement, depending on your bank.
When we can’t give a refund
- The request is made more than 14 days after the payment.
- The same person or business buys and refunds several times to get around the guarantee.
- The purchase was fraudulent or broke our Terms & Conditions.
Cancelling is not the same as a refund
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and no refund is made for that period unless you are within the 14 days above.
Returns
HookPage is software that you download, so there is nothing physical to send back. When we refund you, your license is cancelled. That is the “return”.
The free plugin
The free HookPage plugin on WordPress.org costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
Payments and billing partner
Our checkout, billing and licenses are handled by Freemius, our reseller and merchant of record. Your bank or PayPal statement may show Freemius. Refunds are sent back through Freemius.
Chargebacks
Please email us before you open a dispute with your bank or PayPal. We can almost always solve the problem faster, and a chargeback cancels your license right away.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. The policy that applied on the date of your purchase is the one we follow for that purchase.
